A £108.6m growth deal has been signed for Oxfordshire, which will create thousands of jobs and homes across the region and attract more than £200m in public and private investment. Greg Clark, the minister for universities, science and cities, was at the campus of Abingdon & Witney College to sign the deal, which is expected to create 6,000 jobs by 2021. Oxfordshire will receive £15.7m of investment for the first year commencing 2015/16 with a further £92.9m of commitment through to 2020/21.
